cowman1
Ok, so I am getting tired of TOT, and I am going to try and cancel my contract (even if I have to pay a fee). I don't ask for much, I'm not even that bothered about international speeds, but I like playing online games on my ps3 within Thailand. For the last 3 weeks my ping times have been averaging about 450 in to Thailand - this is appalling. I was just wandering, if I want to change to Maxnet premier, will I have to install a new phone line , or will my TOT phone line suffice? If so, will I just have to pay the line rental to TOT and then the monthly subscription to Maxnet? Are there any other start up costs? Thanks if anyone can help! monty
I assume you live upcountry (i.e. outside of Bangkok), where indeed you can only get Maxnet on TT&T lines. It can be confusing for some, as TT&T lines still get bills from TOT! If you are in Bangkok, I think you can now get TripleT broadband, which is also owned by TT&T but delivers internet through different media/phone lines. Not sure which ones though!
