philliphn
Artificial trees and plants collect a lot of dust and are difficult to clean.
jm49er1
Artificial trees and plants collect a lot of dust and are difficult to clean. Easy to take care of and no need to water - also do not require sunlight to stay green
Guderian
You often see street vendors with cartloads of artificial plants and flowers. You could try them, they may be cheaper than the stores.
pattaya_girl
There is also a lovely artificial flower and plant stall at the Soi Bouakow Tuesday & friday Market - a huge collection, you might get some things you want from there for sure..

cudaproject
Bad for allergies due to the dust that they collect. I think we need to change the title of this thread to accomodate Philliphn's responses to: "Anyone have any advice on whether it would be better for me to buy fake or real plants for my condo? Anyone have any negative points as to buying fake plants?
doggie888888
No comment on desirability of artifical plants vs the real thing But I do remember seeing some at INDEX on Sukhumvit Rd.
pattaya_girl
Driving to Foodland on Pattaya Klang yesterday, I saw another artificial Plant/flower/tree shop, and i thought of you - its on the same side as Foodland, just before it, as you are driving towards the Sukhumvit. The Artificial trees look gorgeous, in all colours and sizes... Real are ok if you have the time to take care of them every day.
