Immigration Chiang Mai Closed Which Songkraan Days ?

Featured Replies

Sawasdee Khrup,

According to what I have read in the main forum on visas here on TV, the Vientiane Thai consular offices are open only on the 17th. (Friday) during Songkraan week.

According to :

http://www.thaiembassy.sg/en/opening-hours...bassy-singapore

Singapore Thai Embassy consular services are closed on :

13 April (Mon) Songkran Festival Day +

14 April (Tues) Songkran Festival Day +

Is there a definite on which days the Chiang Mai Immigration office will be closed ?

thanks ! ~o:37;

I am guessing, but 14,14,15 are the official days and would cover all the water-throwing days as well (Immigration is always closed on weekends). :o

So it will be closed twice on the 14th but only once on the 15th General? :o

That is what happens when one posts while still half asleep, 13,14,15, sorry. :o

So it will be closed twice on the 14th but only once on the 15th General? :D

13 is an unlucky number, so it has been elimenated and replaced by an extra day on the 14th. :o

Nobody wants to go to a government office soaked in whatever liquid the weirdos want to spray on you. Dried urine on your clothes isn't very nice to smell when it gets warm. Neither is the poluted septic system water the hero types like to use in their spray guns.

... post removed for poor taste by the author of the post ... is there an easier way to kill something that leaked out of the less appetizing corners of the psyche ?
