Convert Non O

Featured Replies

Does any one no if it is possible to convert a Non O Retirement visa into a Non O multiable visa at my local immigration office and if so what do i need.

Thanks in advance :o

You cannot convert a visa anywhere. You can a new visa at a consulate or embassy.

You can apply for a 1 year extension of stay at immigration if you meet the requirements.

You need to have an income of 65,000 baht per month verified by letter from your embassy or 800,000 baht in a Thai bank for 2 months or a combination of the 2.

After you get the extension you can get a multiple re-entry permit (3800 baht).

Thanks

I have the extension but i have been offered work in Africa so i will need to leave Thailand whilst working so if i pay 3800 i can get a re-entry is this correct?

How do i get on with the 90 days reporting whilst away?

Yes you can get a multiple re-entry permit that will be valid for as long as your extension is valid.

You don't have to do 90 day reports unless your are here for more than 90 days. I assume that will be true in your case.

Each return is day one of a new 90 day period. If you never stay 90 days you never have to make reports.
