April 30, 200917 yr Police bust drug dealers, net ya ba tabs worth Bt74m BANGKOK: -- Two suspected drug dealers, with 296,000 ya ba tablets worth Bt74 million in their possession, were arrested while an accomplice got away in front of Pathum Thani's Si Mum Muang Market on Wednesday night, police said Thursday. Police commissioner Pol Lt-General Worapong Chiewpreecha told the press Thursday that the suspects, Peerapat Kanthana, 29, and Suthep Sawangsri, 27, had confessed to picking up the drug and storing it in exchange for Bt25,000 per person per trip. Police had been tipped off about an expected ya ba trade at the Rangsit branch of Carrefour shopping mall's parking lot, and officers were dispatched to watch for it. At 8.20pm on Wednesday, a car arrived and a man, later identified as Nonthakon or Maitree Kanthana, put two black plastic bags in another car before driving off.
