Ken Posted January 31, 2005 Share Posted January 31, 2005 (edited) It is possible to marry to some one who come to the USA as a tourist?. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sure you can but you probably won't get that tourist visa if you tell the embassy you plan to get married in the USA unless you can convince them that the bride is going to return to Thailand, and if you mention marriage, well, you know. But if you are able to get a tourist visa (again still have to prove she will return to Thailand), then there is nothing to stop you from getting married while in the USA. Now as the future goes, if you marry in the USA and return to Thailand, will it affect future trips from Thailand to the USA. Not sure. I did this in 1992 and we did return to Thailand after the marriage (I was working here). I did not have any problems taking my wife to the USA after that as a tourist.
