and now i Should go out from thailand to get a new visa non b

i know i need to pay 20000 bhat for the over stay when i will be in the airport

my Question is if will not be any Other problem? just smile and pay? :D

or better if i will pay in the immigration befor i live thailand, and then i will get visa for 7 days....?

Confusing :)

tnx for any help......

Go to the airport and pay 20,000 on your way out and that is it.

Don't get caught before the airport, then you will have to pay the fine plus show a ticket out of the country. Untill you have both taken care of they can take you into costudy.

Agreed. Pay your 20,000 baht overstay fine at the airport and be on your way somewhere to get a new Non-Immigrant "B" visa. Oh yes, don't get caught in the meantime.

If your visa has expired, then so has your work permit.

Yes. DO NOT do anything stupid or draw attention to yourself. If you see the police, turn the other way. DO NOT GET CAUGHT BEFORE YOU LEAVE!

You probably walk past police all the time in Bangkok. I always did, so previous poster's suggestion of turn the other way if you see police is kind of stupid. Just act normal.

A mate of mine recently exited Thailand after having overstayed over 1000 days!

He simply turned up at the airport, went to the overstay desk, smiled a lot and showed nice manners. The Thai officers had quite a chuckle about the length of his overstay and took his 20k baht and that was it. No ban or red stamp or anything.

I would agree with other posters that it would be advisable to stay out of any situations which would expose you to police scrutiny.

If your visa has expired, then so has your work permit.

A 'gray area' at best, who is going to inform the Labour Department about his visa problems, especially if he gets another Non-Immigrant "B" visa ASAP.

Stay three years without a visa. :) Don't believe he is claiming it was accidental.

and show them i have flight ticket for day aftar,

its not beter?

i ask this coz i I heard,if i will do it in the airport its can take a few Hours,

1 more thing, they can ask me way im over stay so long?

coz the Truth is the immigration and my Company misunderstand Each other,

and i trust on the company to take cera evrething and i dident check all the time,

and becuse this i have this problem now......

anyway,tnx for all of you.

You should not have any delay at airport with a few month overstay - if it were years then they might hold you until doing a police check. Just do it at airport.

The best option is to go to the airport. You might have a delay of half an hour or so and that would be the most.

Going to immigration is only suggested if you have less than 40 days overstay and could use the extra time to prepare for departure.

If you go to immigration you would have to show tickets out of the country pay the fine and then pay for a 7 day extension (1900 baht).
