Depending on your nationality it is free. But you wuld only get a permision to stay for 15 days, only at an airport do you get 30 days.

You could go to vientianne and get a tourist visa there, even a double one. They are free till June 4th and would give you 60 days per entry. Each entry can be extended by 30 days for 1,900 baht.

It may be free to reenter, but you better have lots of money to play.

It would help if you said where. Will guess Vientiane? It is closed now for today. It opens at 0830 in the morning. It should not be crowded tomorrow as people will likely have to stay until Monday to pick up there visas as Friday is a holiday.

They open at 8;30 and accept applications until 12:00 and in the afternoon they hand out the passports from the previous day.

But tomorrow you won't find many people there because they are closed on Friday for a Holiday

So if you put you appication in tomorrow you will not get your visa back until Monday afternoon.

He might get lucky - I have received same day service from Penang when next day was a holiday. But it is not something I would expect to happen.

Deleted apparent accidental post concerning ATM cards.

didnt realise it was a holiday on friday until i turned up and they said visa would be ready monday. so left it. flying out vietnam in may so the 15 days will do me. all good thanks for help
