After years I want to replace my monitor with a LCD. This LCD should be twice as big (32" or bigger) and allow me to watch 2 internet pages on 1 monitor. In addition to this it should be able to handle HD and current movies - should replace my old Sony TV too.

It does not seem to be so easy. I see glossy and not glossy for instance. Glossy seems to have higher contrast but works like a mirror. This and what else is important to avoid a disapointment? Does it make sense to change at all? Should I contiune to wait? Should I buy a LCD TV instead of a computer monitor and use it with the computer?
