Hi

we are looking for a USED Pullmax nibbler or one of its clones

these are big heavy metal machines used to cut steel sheets

does anyone know areas that would have used equipment ?

either out of a shutdown factory or maybe imortede used from Japan, Korea, Taiwan etc

some of the similiar machines are made by

Trumpf

SMV, Nibler (senior, junior baby) now merged with Pulmax: Sweden

Trumpf, : Germany * still in business but nibbler isn't in production.

Atlas Machines, 3 models pn3,pn5, pn8 : India * still in production

Baker Tru-Edge, :

Lennox, MetlMastr : Lima, Ohio.

Savage, W.J. Savage, :

Libert, : USA

Atlas Machines of India

Franho, Heller & Sons, : Brazil * company in business, C-6 nibbler

Campbell, A.C. Cambell :

Gairu, : Spain

Vibro-Shear taiwan

and I am sure others

In the USA these are $1000-$2500 for a good used one

Anyway thanks for any leads

I actually own the Trumpf but not a big heavy one a hand held.

I use it to nibble metal roofing. It can do up to 18ga stainless

That company makes a great quality tool.

Was about 600 new. You must be looking for a machine shop type.

Good Luck hope you find one.

Drive North out of BKK, past Don Muang. Keep going North on Paholyothin until you pass Thammasart University on your left (you can't miss it.) Then take the next U-Turn.

As soon as you start coming down the U-Turn ramp, you will see on your left a huge "Used Machinery" sign. You can see they of TONS of used machines of all kinds.

Not sure if they will have what you are looking for, but if not they might be able to help you find it.

Also... there is another similar place just under the Rama III bridge on the Samre side of the river. You can get there from Charoen Nakorn road. It's not far from the Marriot resoirt there. Head from the Marriot towards the Rama III bridge, it is right on the corner if you are turing to get on the bridge.

No idea if they have that machine, but that's where I would go to look.

Cheers,

--M.
