ivowatson
Why does this story make me smile? me too find it hard to believe though, all the police that i have met are here to serve and protect Don't smile too loudly! You know they will come after the money they lost, they don't care from who it will come but they will get it back. I guess they'll even work overtime for this. phaethon
Pretty hard to feel sorry for thieves stealing from thieves--especially when other thieves knew what was going on. "Great thieves have little thieves upon their backs to bite 'em, And little thieves have lesser thieves, and so ad infinitum, And the great thieves themselves, in turn, have greater thieves to go on, While these again have greater still, and greater still, and so on. mackayae
About 5 years ago there was a wage &salary table printed in the local papers. A street cop or army private earned about 4000 baht/month ranging up to 25,000-30,000/m for colonels and majors. I am pretty certain a General got the princely sum of 40,000/m plus expenses whatever they are. Love to know how thay can afford Benz's ,Swiss chalets and apartments in London? TIT Frugal mia noi's?
