Multiple Re-entry

Featured Replies

Next month I will apply for multiple re-entry

is this permit for one year?

Or depend on the NON-O , (it expired in November)( after I apply for the new one)

It means, is the multiple re-entry still valid after November?

Also, last time, they ask my in immigration office " when you are intend to go" ?

But that is not possible to answer, it depend on school-holidays and promotions ( example with Air Asia)

Thanks and greetings

Sorry. Are you talking about a Re Entry Permit, Extensions of Stay or a Multi entry Visa?

If a Re Entry Permit, it expires when your permission to stay ends.

A re-entry permit is always valid for the same date as you current permitted to stay until stamp.

You can just enter any date into the travel time fields if required.

I assume you have an extension of stay of some kind. It is not a non-o visa.

A re-entry permit is valid for as long as your permit to stay that you got when you did your last extension.

You can get a single or multiple re-entry permit. Unless you plan on traveling several times between now and November I would just get a single.

You can put any departure/return date you want on the application because it means nothing after they put the stamp in your passport.

I was talking about Re Entry Permit. So this means for me a single re-entry will be enough

In November together with my extension of NON O, I will apply for a multiply re -entry

You have an Extension of your permission to stay, not a Non O Visa. If you are only going to leave Thailand once a single Re Entry Permit will be enough. It will be valid until your extension expires.

Thanks also ubonjoe

This all, answer my questions (and can save money ) :)

Just make sure you do the extension of stay first and have the new permitted to stay until stamp in passport before you do the re-entry permit.

My original O-A visa was a multiple entry. If I renew it, will it be a multiple again?

If yes, what to do if immigration made the mistake with the first renewal? (Still have the original in one passport)

You don't renew you non-oa here. One year after you last entry you have to get an extension of stay.

When you do that you can get ar re-entry permit which is a separate procedure from the extension.

It costs 3800 baht for multiple and 1000 for a single.

After you non-oa expires and you can not make any more entries on it you have to get a re-entry permit before you leave. It would be valid until the permit to stay that you get when you make your last entry before the visa expires.
