It may just be a temporal, and not a causal correlation, but there is a correlation. Autism rate is increasing. The number of childhood vaccines is increasing. Whether they're related is the question. If one guy lost his license, so what? You still haven't provided a source.

      Thai Police held a press conference on October 9, announcing the largest scam equipment seizure in Thailand. Seized items included simboxes, mobile phones, and over 10,000 registered SIM cards. Two suspects, a 68-year-old Thai man and a 33-year-old Chinese man, were arrested. The raids targeted four locations in Bangkok, The equipment seized would have enabled criminals to make calls from around 3,000 phone numbers. Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra urged ASEAN to avoid entanglement in geopolitical conflicts she was speaking at the 44th ASEAN Summit in Vientiane.       When I was in Goa many years ago, Indian men on the beach would approach unaccompanied Western female tourists especially those wearing bikinis asking for a photo with them. They thought putting their arms around the female was acceptable, was surprised the number of women that allowed this, they just thought the men were being friendly. Later on I travelled extensively in India, some of the stories I was told by Western women about travelling in India especially on buses and night trains was pretty shocking.

      because they want a cashless society, keep up. gov do not care about companies companies will fold and do as told the customer will simply adapt to using a different payment method, or not get the goods they want. i always use COD but this recent "problem" they have decided to fix, was never really a problem, and the fix seems good on the surface to the customer, but will be impossible for the companies to allow this just think now how many old AN members will now be wasting the delivery drivers time, opening up their 150 baht order to make sure everything is correct and working "just give me a minute so i can plug it in and make sure it's working"..... couriers will soon have complaints from staff, some staff may just leave if their days become too long courier has 2 choices increase their fees by a lot so they can have a lot more delivery staff or just scrap COD, and all deliveries that would have been COD are now a little faster too

I want to open a paypal account with bangkok bank, not kasikorn as I've already used that bank account for a previous paypal account.

Is it possible to use only a normal card to add to the paypal account or will I(my partner actually) need to get a credit card? And if so, how can we get a credit card with no proof of earnings? :)

The bank account we opened was a savings account, is it possible to use this account for paypal?

Thanks in advance for any recent experiences :D

Yes it is possible.

Apply for the Bkk Bank Be1st card. They now have a CVV code on the back.

Register card with paypal, and go to the "verify card" routine.

After Paypal has deducted the small test amount from your card, you have to call Bualuang phone(02 645 55 55). This is an automated system, but pressing a zero anywhere in the process will get you a human operator.

The operator will ask you to enter your be1st card number using your phone's keypad, followed by your pin code to verify yourself. They are then able to call up the charges made to your card, along with the extended use number which you need to enter in Paypal to verify your card.

Afterwards you can make paypal payments, if your paypal balance is insufficient, you be1st card will be charged automatically. No need to fund your paypal account.

You can also register your Bkk bank account with paypal, after which you can withdraw paypal funds into your Bkk bank account.

Another small thing .... Bangkok Bank usual requires a WP to open a bank account. Make sure to bring it along.

Never been asked one!

Go to one of the smaller micro branches, much better service then in the big and busy main offices.

Me neither. They just wanted a photocopy of my non imm visa at the Chang Klang branch.

I wanted to open a paypal account with Kasikorn. What problems did you have that stopped you using them. I dont want to fall into that hole.

I wanted to open a paypal account with Kasikorn. What problems did you have that stopped you using them. I dont want to fall into that hole.

It was nothing to do with the kasikorn/paypal thing, it was more to do with a thieving postal worker somewhere between Thailand and the UK :) which resulted in eBastards suspending my account :D
