dwoon
Hi, Could anyone advise whether there's fireworks for sale in Phuket. I did some searches and came across an article that it has since been banned in Phuket. Is this correct? Thanks
keestha
Driving into Phuket Town from the north (Thepkasatri Road), right before or right after the Phuket Town Inn Hotel, at the right hand side. Had no problems buying my New Years Eve fireworks there last year. Edited May 22, 2009 by keestha

ScubaBuddha
Hi,Could anyone advise whether there's fireworks for sale in Phuket. I did some searches and came across an article that it has since been banned in Phuket. Is this correct? Thanks During the Christmas/New Years holidays nearly every non-chain mini mart/supermarket has loads of them, and some pretty hardcore stuff at that. It's harder to find "flower-fire" outside holiday period. I once went into a gun shop in Phuket Town that had a total of 4 guns for sale, and every square cm of floor space covered with every firework you could imagine. nicholasmerwood
Thought they were borderline 'illegal' in thailand to buy? this is good news.
