i have made a 30-day extension on top of the 60day (single entry tourist visa) and seems i will probably have to stay longer visting other parts of thailand. problem is i am 7 days into my 30day extension & i would like to go to Vientiane (Laos) to get another 60days (Single Entry Tourist Visa) before i go on my tour to Changmai which i would stay for 2 months.

can i know will i be issued another Tourist Visa if i go in a few days time which i would be like 11days into my 30days extension date? or woud i have to wait till the extension is about to finish before i can get a new tourist visa.

You can get a new tourist visa without a problem. You don't have to finish your current permit to stay to get a new one.

If you go before the 4th of June you can get a free 2 entry tourist visa in Vientiane.
