90 Days Reporting After 75 Days?

Featured Replies

hi,

my 90 days reporting is due at end of june but i would like to travel with friends at that time.

is it possible to go make the 90days notification 2 weeks earlier, at -lets say- 75 days?

As reported below, it's plus or minus 7 days of your notification date. Oops!

No, you have a window of 7 days before till 7 days after your report day.

What is your office?

Most offices allow you to do the 90 day report by mail.

You can report 7 days before or after the report date.

If you are going to travel outside the country it does not matter anyway be cause you won't be in the country for more than 90 days. Just repaort 90 days after you come back. Also don't forget you need a re-entry permit if you leave the country.

If you are not leaving then you could do your report by mail.

my office is in Koh Samui, i dont plan to leave thailand, just travel to Phuket. if i am not mistaken i cannot do the notification there.

that's why i was thinking of anticipating it here.

Can't you get someone to do it for you?

On Samui it is not far for anyone to go is it. Or as said ask if they will accept by post.

Actually if he is travelling out of local area it would probably not be wise to be without his passport.

i think here they want to see you in person (not 100% sure) and i dont want to have any problems if things don't work out for some reason.

I have never been on overstay and would like to keep my record clean.

also, i have enver heard of anybody doing it by mail down here

That would be because no one lives far away and in the past you could report wherever you happened to be.

Go and ask them what they advise. It will not take you long.

Correct , but he could maybe make copies as in posting requirements and give to someone to take.
