I don't read Thai, but this website seems to suggest that it's less than 4,000 in Thailand, with free delivery.

Care to translate, anyone?

:)

im not sure, but i think thats for motorcycles and for one kit,

by the way, dont forget that most prices listed are for a low beam set only, the best is hi-lo ( also known as bi-xenon ) and 55w, however a low beam only set of 35w is much better than normal h4 etc,.

backing up a bit here, so its basically a much more powerful headlight, yeah?

is it true to say that it's low beam is as strong as a regular high beam?

is this not dangerously blinding to oncoming vehicles?

correct me if i am wrong...

Hi chivo, if they not adjusted right my guess is they are very dangerous.

And who in their right mind would trust some ebay trader in China? OK, if your tight for a quid buy the Chinese stuff locally, at least then you can whinge to someone when you have problems!

I'm interested in an alternative bulb that I found while browsing the net... claims +80% more light without upgrading to higher wattage and therefore doesn't need any car modifications of wiring/relay or whatever.

It's called the Philips X-treme power. According to autoexpress.co.uk article on "Lightbulb test" :

"Ring’s XenonPlus claims the top place in the plus 30 category, narrowly edging out Philips’ Premium.

Among the 50 plus bulbs, original equipment suppliers Philips and Osram are at the top again. The former takes victory with its X-treme Power, which produced considerably more light than any bulb here."

If anyone can recommend a place to buy it here, please let me know. Thanks! :)
