cneuy3
Hello, Over the past year I've been staying in Thailand on Tourist Visas. The past week I went up to Mae Sai and crossed the border only to return to my surprise with a 15 day stamp. Is it possible to extend this stamp for another ~15 days at immigration? If not then is it possible to cross the border again and get another 15 day stamp? Thanks in advance.
ubonjoe
You can only get a 7 day extension and would need to show a ticket out within those 7 days. You can leave and come back getting 15 days as many times as you want to. The rule was changed last November any arrival by land or sea only gets 15 days by air it is still 30 days.
