Two Cambodian Students in near-drowning incident on Jomtien Beach

There was drama on Jomtien Beach in front of Soi 3 on Saturday Morning as two young children were involved in a near drowning incident. Rescue Workers rushed to the location and rushed the two young Cambodian boys aged 12 to Hospital. The boys were on holiday in Pattaya and were apparently caught by a high wave as they swam in the sea. Other beachgoers saw the commotion and rescued the two boys who had both swallowed large amounts of water but were still breathing. Doctors tell us that the two boys are now under observation in Hospital but are expected to make a full recovery. We would like to warn all beachgoers that rough seas are forecast for the next 7 days and we advise extreme caution if you decide to swim in the sea during this time.
