skippybangkok
Tried Adam and Joe...... everyone is different....would give em 50-50. So far like - Videocasts from The Onion Network - Hamish and Andy ( Melbourne / Oz radio programme ) - Dave Gorman ( absolutradio ) - Friday Night Comedy BBC4 - and a few news related broadcasts ( Anderson Cooper / BBC / CNN etc ). Podcasts are taking more of my space than Music, which i rarely listen too now.
quiksilva
Its very subjective, I quite like to listen to Chris Evans and Jonathan Ross's shows. I'm not quite sure you could call them comedy but they are entertaining.

Crill
Really enjoyed all of the 'Ricky Gervais' shows with Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington, classic stuff. Download from the box or mininova. Russell Brand is alright and bbc 4 '4 stand ups' is pretty good.
Riley'sLife
I agree that comedy is the best for listening, but the Beeb has loads of general interest podcasts too, like “Science in Action”, and “Point of View”, “Forum”, etc. I avoid all the current affairs and news topics like the plague as I find it all too stressful and frustrating. “Wogan” is perhaps an acquired taste for non-Brits but the famous “Janet and John” sketches can be humorous sometimes. As a diversion I listen to “Ramblings” and, while listening, I follow the route they take on Google Earth. A good walk through interesting countryside, ending up at a good pub for Sunday Lunch is about the only thing I miss from UK! There are some good comedy videos on Youtube.
