I would like to rent a bike for two weeks, beginning July 1st.

I had a provisional arrangement with Pop Superbikes in Bkk but he has sold the bike he had in mind. I am looking for a comfortable ride, something along the lines of a CBR1100. (I'm not a young buck with a death wish... rather an old fart with a dislike for cars and no desire to ride a moped :) ) I know that the initial reaction to this post will be to suggest renting from Pattaya or Phuket, but I'd rather not deal with those guys if at all possible... no offence intended if you are a shop owner in Pattaya.... So, if anybody out there knows a shop which will rent larger bikes in Bkk, or perhaps somebody who would enter into a private arrangement (I have no problem leaving sufficient collateral with the right person)... please let me know.
