Like I said, there are many 'fly-by-night' outfits and 'fast-talking' sales places, but IF you are looking for reliability and integrity, then deal with the place where I have dealt throughout my entire "Thai Life": Wattana.

Hello, beware of SONY although they have a service center here it's good for nothing.Maybe your frind wants to have a look at the Wattana Computer store either opposite foodland or at the Tukcom IT Mall, opposite foodland they have a good service center and you can talk to the technicians right away and the repairs are done in house, it looks that they are very good at asian brands like Acer etc, find it out over there.

If you may consider a mac there are 3 shops here, at the avenue mall, at the new central beach mall and at the Tukcom IT mall, their service is great, software support right in front of you and hardware will be back from Bangkok within a week.
