Question About Papers Required For Visa

Featured Replies

Hi, i have a question about paperwork for visa. Im now in thailand on a tourist visa valid untill 21 juli 2009.

Im taking a tefl course starting 13 juli. i hear that i can go to cambodia or laos for a 60-90 visa. Can anybody tell me what papers i need to bring to the thai consulate in cambodia or laos in order to get this 60 day visa.and were i can get these papers?

Maybe somebody who reads this obtained sutch a visa in cambodia or laos, and can tell me his or her experience's.

Thank you so much

As you do not provide nationality or say when you arrived not sure you even have a visa or a 30 day visa exempt stamp on entry. If you need a tourist visa (most nationalities get 60 days and can extend 30 days) you do not need any special paperwork - and they are free - and presently Vientiane will issue a two entry version. Just apply morning and pick up next workday afternoon. Have photos/copy of you passport info page. If you go to Vientiane you will also have to pay for visa to Laos either before travel or at border and price is determined by your nationality.

As said above Vientienne will issue a double entry Tourist Visa. Tourist Visas are free.

The Visa to enter Laos will be around 1,500 Baht depending on your Nationality.
