Yep, got an email from WestEasttravel today.

LHR-BKK - Economy £405. Elite £545. Premium Laurel £1075.

Although, interesting to see Thai are offering cheap "Q" class booking until 7th September for travel until December 9th.

Qatar airways were recently offering £369 return , Might be worth a check.

You can fly Kuala Lumpar to Stansted (London) with Air Asia for about 300 GBP return if booked in advance

. Then pick up a cheap flight to BKK maybe an option.

That must be before tax right?

Spoke with a friend who flew with Jet last week and was pleasantly surprised, mind you he had flown Finnair on the way out and virtually any airline would seem pretty good compared to them. Note that these flights tend to be for the end of August, my Eva flight for Aug 2 is coming up at £740...booked it for £500 when the red shirts stormed Pattaya...

compairing the same period....

...from Milan/Rome you can flight without stops , (tax incl.) for € 402.50 !!!!!!!!! (Blue panorama ... blue-express.com)

Agreed ! The only good thing about Finnair is their entertaining adverts - dreadful airline :)

I used fly Jet inside India a lot when I worked there and always found them to give a great standard.

Booked 2 Tics with EVA in September...£405...... :D

and as it happens I have never flown with them before...always...-Thai-China A-BA- Malaysia -Garuda-Singa-Etti-royal B and in the bad /good old days.... Binman.....should be fun :) ....

jet is allowing 35kg on London-Bangkok route - comparing to thai 32kg (at the discretion) and eva 20kg

Eva are very good but the prices for changeable tickets do seem to have risen a lot.

Jet are poor with shoddy aircraft and a menu consisiting of curry and curry no matter what time of the day or night you fly.

Thanks guys I just booked 2 tickets EVA direct for £810.00 in September :D :D :) I was going to book and stop over in the land of Arabs now I don't have to stop at all just straight to ole swampy !!!!

Happy Dayz
