I have a friend he is 47 years old (not good with computer!!!), he has no thai wife or girlfriend in Thailand but he want to quit his job en go to Thailand and live there from his money which he have earned in his working life. Could someone give me the possibilities about getting a visa for this??

I suppose you are Dutch seeing on your name. Contact the Thai embassy in Amsterdam / Den Haag.

He has not got many choices. A Non Imm O Visa Multi Entry would give a stay up to 15 months.

As said Amsterdam if he is Dutch. Hull UK or Stuttgart would issue for reason of visiting friends.

After that he could return to Europe and get another one or muddle through with Tourist Visas until he is 50 and able to get Retirement Extensions.
