With the VAT added in, UBC and True internet always have a few satangs trailing baht owed.

Now, it normal for most businesses to round up, but most aren't monthly contracts, with millions of subscribers. What the local True clerks do is to take the extra satang, but give me a reciept for the amount on the bill, not the actual amount recieved.

Is this what everyone else experiences?

Yup, it sure is. Solution: pay by credit card and it will be the exact amount.

Yep....... thats how they make all that profit !

Their rates already take care of that. I'm just curious about what they do with all that "unaccounted" cash.

Let's just say that True has 1 million customers. An average of 50 satang each will make a half million baht.

I just cough up the satang and go on my way. But, in the spirit of "sticking it to the man", this form of book keeping smells of class action!

Any ambitious solicitors out there?
