fw1
Hello all. The weekend is approaching I and shall be off to Pattaya again. After staying at the Bay Breeze Hotel for years, I've decided that I've had enough of their poor client treatment and am in the hunt for a new hotel. I'd strongly prefer to pay less than 1000 Baht a night. 600-700 sounds reasonable. Would also prefer central Pattaya. Naklua is out. Jomtien is definately out, and I'd prefer not to stay in south Pattaya, though could if necessary. So, what are the best hotels for less than a thousand baht? Thanks
fisherd3
Try www.roofgardeninn.com not in the centre of pattaya, but very high quality rooms and bathrooms, for around 600 bht per night. 10 baht 5min songthaw ride to walking street. McAttack
Flipper Lodge<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've stayed at the Eastiny Inn across from Flipper Lodge and thought it was quite good for 800 baht. Nice, friendly staff and comfy rooms.
fw1
Thanks all, this is most helpful. I shall attempt to book a room at the flipper but won't flip out if they are full since my question has been answered most comprehensively. wilko
Thanks all, this is most helpful. I shall attempt to book a room at the flipper but won't flip out if they are full since my question has been answered most comprehensively.Cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Remember there is a Flipper Lodge on Soi 8 and Flipper House on Soi 7, both are OK and have pools on the roof. The staff at both are better trained than most and they do a good Thai breakfast. No charge for guests. I prefer the Lodge. Opey de Plage is good too. Sunshine on 8 if you can't get in to Flipper, then Eastiny, 2 of them on Soi 8. Paradise of Third Rd is good too.

fw1
Stayed there last Saturday at 600 Baht a time. Out of the ones I've been to recently the Intown does seem to be the best value for money. Conveniently located between Soi Buokhao and the beach scene as well. Didn't rate the Lek or Apex hotel, or Siam Sawadee either.
