george
Police arrest bank robber taking a nap on the job BANGKOK: -- Police arrested a would-be bank robber early Sunday morning after he broke into a Bangkok bank and then fell asleep under the teller’s counter. Narong Chuaysuk, 22, a native of Sakon Nakhon, was found sleeping under the counter of Siam Commercial Bank’s Bang Mod branch on Rama II Road after a silent alarm was activated. Police said Narong had in his possession wristwatches, a pen, VCD and CD players, two screwdrivers and a one-metre-long wooden stick that he had used to break into the bank. Narong admitted that he had broken into banks on two previous occasions, police said. The first two alleged break-ins were at Krung Thai Bank’s Bang Khunthien branch on February 7 and February 21. Narong told reporters that having tried unsuccessfully to break into the Bang Mod bank’s safe, he had rifled through draws and kept the valuables. He said he then felt sleepy and decided to take a nap before fleeing. Narong revealed that he used to make furniture, but could not find work. He then met a man who persuaded him to rob banks. Police yesterday brought Narong to the bank to re-enact the crime. He climbed up to the third floor and removed an iron bar with the wooden stick, before removing slatted windows. He was also brought to Krung Thai Bank’s Bang Khunthien branch to re-enact the burglaries there. --The Nation 2005-03-

sriracha john
Narong revealed that he used to make furniture, but could not find work. He then met a man who persuaded him to rob banks. The importance of diligent questioning by the employer during the job interviewing process can not be over-emphasized. He forgot to ask the very relevant question: "If you successfully break into a bank, are you capable of making an escape before nodding off?" Peewee
Apparently, some one at the bank had mentioned the alarm was on – who wouldn’t get some kip in with the knowledge that the alarm would get him up in time for the action. Lets hope he sleeps as well where he will be going next!
