Crushdepth Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 I want to buy an SSL certificate for a new website I'm building. I need one from a CA that is supported by major browsers, but cheap! Anyone know a 'budget' provider? Is there any free (and browser supported) CA out there?

But it isn't cheap.
wxpwzrd Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Depends on your definition of cheap (vs. free). I use Comodo certs for almost all of my projects.
Tywais Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 The major names are going to be expensive. An alternative is Comodo SSL Certificates. This site sells them at discounted prices > Cheap Comodo Certificates
