Gang of Ladyboy thieves apprehended

On Thursday evening, the Pattaya Police were notified that a ladyboy thief had been captured on a Baht Bus at the entrance to Soi 8, off Pattaya Second Road. The Police rushed to investigate.

Upon arrival, the Police found the victim, Mr. Rashami Skumar, aged 32, an Indian National, along with his 3 friends. They had captured the offender, later identified as Surasit Khannak, aged 22. The victim told the Police that he and his friends caught the Baht Bus in front of Mike Shopping Mall on Pattaya Second Road to go home, and there were many passengers on the bus. He sat beside the thief, and later realized that his wallet was being taken from his trouser pocket. He immediately grabbed the hand of the crook, and suddenly all the passengers got off, as they were probably other gang members. Mr. Skumar checked his wallet, and found that 3,000 Baht was missing.

The offender claimed that he snatched the wallet of the victim but his fellow gang members who fled the scene had taken the money away. The offender attempted to negotiate and was willing to return 3,000 Baht to the victim but no leniency was given. He was taken back to the station for further questioning.
