Dsl in a serviced apartment..

Anyone out there have DSL in a serviced apartment? Does the fact that the apartment has a switchboard effect the connection at all?

I seem to experience frequent disconnects and slow connections on dial up using the phone line here and was wondering if the same would apply for DSL (it's not the dial up ISP causing it).

The TAExpress site says that coverage is available for my serviced apartment's phone line.

Would IPStar be more stable, reliable, and/or faster than DSL here?

Thanks for any help. I'm just trying to figure out what is my best option for broadband. Also, I'm in the Ladprao area if that makes a difference.

They probably use HPNA DSL - it's a short reach alternative for MTU/MDU's (200 metre cable lengths and under) where it plugs into the residences PABX and gives you DSL speeds over the phone line (i've got a 1mbit unit here, alough other makes go up to 8mbit. - They obviously need the internet conenction first to share, but thats easy...
