Where Is Everybody Finding These Great Deals With Eva?

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a ONE WAY flight in early November and it is coming up as £478. That's not cheap! I've seen people saying they have got RETURN tickets with EVA for £400. How? Really, how? Where?

Is early November extra expensive for any reason? I'm totally flexible with dates. I can travel a week earlier and anywhere up to a month later if needs be.

I was originally looking at airasia and was almost certain of booking with them once they had an offer on. Now they do have an offer on but the flights are for January. Do you think that their next special offers may be for departures a little sooner or will they not do any more offers for travel this year?

Check out the eva website.

Check out the eva website.

Yeah, I did that. That's where I got the £478 from. I suppose you mean they have special offers on there from time to time... well, i can't see any now and haven't any time i've checked in the past few weeks. There's just one business class deal and one from Amsterdam to BKK or Taipei. Or am i missing something?

Check out the eva website.

I just did and even as a Gold Card member a single from LHR to BKK is £468.

My suggestion would be to buy the cheapest return that you can find.

As you know with scheduled airlines a Single is not usually half fare on special deals....

Lets see you get what you wanted a cheaper flight and now you wait.

Thanks guys, Netflights is well over £100 cheaper on the exact same flight :D Smashing help fellas.

Now just to decide whether to book now or wait for airasia and risk losing that price :)

Airasia have had at least two sales this year, both buy now fly from January 2010, this current one fly between Jan 11th and July 31st.

as most have said, it is often as cheap, if not cheaper to buy a return and bin the return bit, sometimes it makes it easier getting in to wherever you are going as well but as you are getting a 1 way i guess you have your visa sorted.

gulf are about 380 1 way in november as well and the connections are good, as you have noticed air asia as a single sector fare basis so 1 way is no problem but you will need a night in kl i think

cheers

The very best Air Asia deals tend to be a long way in the future. You can get some stunning value with these, but obviously the chance you take is whether your travel needs will change in the meantime.

I'm sorry my thread made you so angry :)

Everybody else thanks for your input. I'll look into it more over the weekend and make a decision. Does anybody know how long an Eva return ticket would be valid for, or how far in advance i could book the return?

It's called the HIP Promotion, although London is not listed it is in the deal as well

here is the link http://www.evaair.com/html/b2c/english/dea...UR_From_Bangkok

these are only flights from BKK.

For flights from LHR http://www.evaair.com/html/b2c/english/dea...TH916+TO+ETH922

If you look on the website, then look under promotion that is the best way to find out.

If from the UK try ASDA Holidays.

By the time you pay, backage, food and and then getting from KL to BKK, AirAsia is more expensive and is a crap journey...ok if you live KL.

I would buy that Eva air ticket asap. nice planes, personal tvs and direct flight. that's a bloody good price
