Burnham was elected, you need to get over that. All three major parties committed to the Triple lock at the last election, the Greens proposed a ‘Double lock’. Reform UK were promising something they claimed was better, but of course gave no details, and have now switched, as they do, to supporting the triple lock. The Triple was in the Manifesto upon which the Government and the oppositions were elected.
