rocky3
I am thinking about setting up a Furniture store and importing furniture from the US. What would I expect to pay on customs for a $14000 cost of goods in the US? Wife could run the business (she is Thai) if I am prohibited from this activity. raro
you would be much more specific for this, I'm afraid. Furniture is well distinguished by the material it is made from and the intended usage. You could run the business, provided you qualify for the WP requirements.
rocky3
roro, it's a rocking or gliding chair with a wooden frame and removable cushions. The chair also comes with a otoman with the same type or glider base. I would attach a photo if I knew how. Rocky3
klikster
How many sets would you get for $14,000? You might consider finding a small mfg company and having them built here. Saves shipping and customs, better inventory control and flexibility. Thais know how to work wood and metal, and plenty of fabrics available. The only concern I would have .. the quality/effectiveness of the cushion material.
