Fireballs in the river

Featured Replies

Hmmm.

Went to the Fireball festival this year. What a joke, the fireballs are just tracer rounds fired from boats on the river. What a waste of time and effort. The place we stayed at was awful,Bigsnake Guesthouse. The owner makes Shylock seem generous. There isn't a meaner person on this planet. Our friend had a birthday and thought we would have a little party but were not allowed to bring in own drinks. We had to buy everything from the guesthouse owner,John.

In the past have always stayed at Mutmee in Nong Khai which is a great home from home and everyone is so generous.

Very strange comment about the Big Snake guest house, I have read good reports about it on TV and KK.com :o

bronco

I have read a couple of good reviews too but if you check out the good ones they are from people related to websites that have links to the bigsnake web-site.i.e gives us a link and i'll write something nice. The only problem is if you follow that recommendation and waste a load of money.Mutmee guesthouse is by far the best and it's in Nong Khai.

its a tourism booster , if it was in any way factual dont you think the worlds media would be there ? including National Geographic ?

they would have covered it by now .. :o

Fair enough was just making that observation, have never stayed in NK, we go back to KK.
