Some prices: *Apple iphone 3G (8Gb) 200 US$ (6,800 Baht) *HTC touch Diamond 215 US$ (7310 Baht) *Sony playstation 3 40 GB 130 US$ (4,420 Baht) *Nokia N96 16GB 205 US$ (7,000 Baht) No company address, no website, no phone number, just a single e-mail address (with gmail). And then they write " Many thanks and God bless you when you place your order" Two different names associated with the e-mail address (Alpho John and Raheem Akbar). Same e-mail address pops up when google searched, associated with different company names (but similar, network cell limited, ACELL limited,...) Genuine? I think I almost become a victim which is I believe a western union scam. I have been contacted by a guy name Raheem Akbar through instant messenging. He claimed he live in UK and have a trading company, Acell Limited. He also give me a link to check the status of the company. He said his company is selling handphones, notebooks and other gadgets. He offer to send me a sample of iPhone to advertise in local Malaysia website. And the price of iPhone he offer me is so cheap, which is I can make a good profit from it. At first I make a deal with him to pay through COD with courier service. When I start receiving order and request from buyers, he starting to show his real scam character. First, he request to deal direct with the buyers in order to advice the payment and courier matter. I refuse to give it as I dont want him to bypas me and I wantto protect my profit too. Then he request to change the method of payment to western union, which is I disagreed too. He then requested me to ask my buyer to pay to me (under my name) using western union. Sound secure enough to me, but then he ask me again to inform the buyer name and MTCN number to confirm the payment with western union. Now I know there is something wrong with this deal. I refuse to use western union at all and ask to go back to original deal, COD with courier service. He dont want to do it, so I just tell him, You are scammer!!
