Did post it elsewhere, but didn't get any feedback;

Just realised that my Visa extension is due at the end of the month. I was previously on a Non -IM B, now on my fourth extension. For some reason when I submitted my docs last year I lost a month on my visa, as I normally submitted docs for the extension in October. As it happens, my WP expires on the 24th Nov, whilst my visa expires on the 29th Sept. What exactly do I need to submit to get the new extension? My employer is extending my contract. I have normally done this through an agent, but was just going to do the visa extension myself. Any Advice please.

I suspesct that immigration will only extend till the time your work permit is valid (Nov) and when you get a new extension of your work permit you can get an extension of stay from immigration for a year. I doubt that immigration will accept your contract as proof that you will work longer than till Nov.

I would try the labour office and ask them to extend your work permit early.

Thanks for that Mario, that is what I suspected. What docs will I need to show for the extension? Will Ihave to show the full lot again, or will it just be a formality based on the current contract and WP?

Understand that, I'm only looking at the Visa extension at the moment up until the validty of the WP in Nov, so I'd have to put all the previous docs back in for a 2 month visa extension?
