90 Day Stamp On O Visa Up.

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have a 1 year visa and the first ninety days is nearing its end. Do I need to do a border eun or can I renew this in Hua Hin at an immigration office?

Thanks in advance.

It depends if you have a Visa or an Extension.

You will have to do a border run, unless you meat the criteria for an extension. To be able to answer that you would need to tell us what your multiple non-immigrant visa is based on: marriage to a Thai, retirement, work, .......

To be honest I dont really know what its based on. I got it in Hull and it was the simplest process ever. No one was really interested and it took about 10 minutes. It just says o visa, multiple wntry on the visa stamp in my passport.

You will have to do a border run every 90 days.

If you don't have a Thai wife or are older than 50 or are working with a work permit, you will have to do a border run.

check timely with your immigration office, it depends on the kind of visa you have

if it's a retirement visa you just report to the immigation office

if it's a non immigrant O or B you have to do the visa run

Not so. Unless the visa can be validly extended the Op has to do a border run. On reading the whole thread I suspect the OP has a Non-O visa from Hull on the basis of visiting friends.
