Thai Bank Atm Charges Outside Thailand?

Featured Replies

It's probably a wiser move asking this here than to the staff at my bank.

What are the charges (SCB) for using that ATM debit card outside Thailand?

Also, anyone use SCB for internet banking? Any good?

100 baht per withdrawal

100 baht per withdrawal

correct

Thanks. Are there any additional charges for the foreign currency conversion?

I use the SCB Easy Internet Banking and it's oke.

It's cheaper in transferring money (to other accounts/other Banks) through the website then it is via the ATM card.

Thanks.

Using a Thai Bank debit card overseas is much more cost-effective than using a British bank card. The flat rate is 100 baht and the exchange rate given is absolutely exact (no loading).

My British bank card charges me a flat rate of 250 baht and a 2.99% loaded exchange fee.

Conclusion & message to self: During overseas travel, use the Thai Bank ATM card!

Exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks.
