I heard of a bus service for gamblers. Lumpini Park was mentioned. But there is also a train, I understand. The the regular bus from Mochit (Northern Bus Station).

What works for you? What can I expect? One needs a passport photo for the VISA on arrival and THB 1000 due to corruption?

Which of the casinos serves a good buffet breakfast?

And is Poipet the terrible place depicted in blogs?

I use one of the visa run servies which is 2000THB all up including buffet breakfast.

Every thing is done for you and hastle free.

So for the extra 500 THB i prefer this service.

Poi Pet is as bad as posted and don't take any valubles with you as some of the kids begging are also pick pockets.

I catch the casino bus in front of Big C next to central Bang Na, 200 Baht return, leaves Aranya Prathet at 1730 for the trip back. I believe the bus leaves Bangkok every 30 minutes from 6 AM until 9 AM

I do not know the phone number, but just go to the front of Big C before 0730 and get on the bus. Warning ! Make sure you get the bus in front of Big C not the buses that pull up in front of Central.
