My gf need a certificate of unmarried status. She live in Udon Thani. Was born in Lop Buri. Does she need to go to Lop Buri to get this certificate ?

I recently went through this myself... I had to go to the local amphur from where her house registration is listed. My GF had to have her mother or father present aswell as the local village boss. i think it cost about 40baht to have certificate made up and than had it translated the next day for 300baht.

she was born in Prachin Buri, so I assumed thats where we would need to go but no, we had to go to Arunyaprethet. she lives about 80km south in a town called Thap Prik but her house registration is listed with the nearest Amphur, being Arunyaprethet.
