Tot Internet

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've currently got TOT 'high speed' internet. I've had enough of the crap service and my building now allows other connections. Is it worthwhile changing to another provider? I know for example that True are offering a 3mb package for less than I'm paying for 1.5 with TOT, but is it really that much better or does it still suffer from ridiculously slow evenings, etc.

Are other providers really providing the speeds offered or is it only slightly better than TOT?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers :)

Well, my friend has just got the 8m package from True for 1199 (as he has truelife) and he says it goes down to about 4 at night and 6-7 average during the day etc. Package prices are here if u want a look. http://www.truecorp.co.th/eng/promotion/pr...ispeed8mbps.jsp

Hi I live on my Holiday complex and have used MAX for the last 4 years and just upgraded to there 10 mb brilliant.

I have TOT and have not had many problems.

In my building only TOT is allowed, but I checked other suppliers, but most of them relied on TOT lines for the service. even if you use True, they get the line laid from TOT, its just the end equipment that might differ.

T.O.T are crap, I have another thread going along the same lines, unfortunately it doesnt look like I have many other options at the moment.

If you can change then i would do it.

Our internet drops out and isnt doing what it says on the packet, and I have had 6 days of no internet at all this month - no sign of the promised technician - Finally lost my rag a little the other day with the call centre, and the guy recommended that I use another provider. Great customer relations. I am down in Phuket and I have a lot of friends receiving the same top notch service from them. Guess they are just looking at it as a numbers game.

Choppy

What a bind?

I'm mostly in Bangkok and never had a good internet service.

But down in Surat I have TOT basic package and it's really fast.

Maybe it's about location, or just pure chance.

Very annoying I know. I'd suggest getting to the root of the problem first.
