The boy almost got away with stealing one laptop computer and two mobile phones

Security officers apprehended a sixteen year old boy for allegedly stealing from a room in a condo somewhere in Pattaya. They alerted Police Lieutenant Colonel Preechar Samrit, inquiry inspector at Pattaya Police Station, at around 3am on March 21.

At the scene, the officer met with a boy who can only be identified as Tdee, 16, who was accused of breaking into room 468/19. The tenant of the room Nutjarin Bunter, 27, explained that she and her farang boyfriend were asleep at the time when she was awoken by sounds in the room. She put the light on and saw the boy carrying away their laptop computer. The couple bravely tackled the boy, who could have been carrying a weapon at the time, but wasn't, and alerted the condo security who came to their aid.

Tdee admitted his guilt and told the authorities how he entered the room via the balcony. Why the boy was so dim-witted to break into the room while the tenants were sleeping was not explained. The boy almost got away with stealing one laptop computer and two mobile phones.

He was taken downtown, but it's not known what happened to him after that.
