Quick Trip To Malaysia With A Non-o Multiple Entry Visa

Featured Replies

I have a non o multiple entry visa from Kuala Lumpur issued May 6 2009... after three months I extended the visa in Ranong until November 1, 2009. I was planning to go back to Ranong to extend it again on November 1. I would like to travel to Langkawi for a sailing regatta on November 13 and return to Thailand approximately 1 week later.

What steps do I need to take before leaving Thailand to ensure I receive another three months visa extension when I reenter Thailand?

Do I need to reentry permit?

How many times can I reenter Thailand on my visa?

Thanks for the clarifications.

1. You have a multi entry non immigrant o visa valid for one year from date of issue.

2. You may enter an unlimited number of times while visa is valid and each entry will get a 90 day permitted to stay stamp.

3. You did not extend in Ranong - you departed Thailand - entered Burma and returned for a new 90 day entry.

4. What you plan is the same - exit Thailand - enter Malaysia and return for a new 90 day entry.

5. You do not want a re-entry permit. You do want to put your visa information on the arrival card when you return.
