Sorry near Pattaya

Very slow in Cha Am the last couple of days, on and off. Pain the the as-s.

Yeah. :)

I sent an EMS letter quicker then an email

For the past week in Khon Kaen my TOT 2 MB has been crap from 6pm onwards until I hit the sack where I've given up waiting for a page to load and dismal torrent download speeds. Has improved the past couple of days though.

I'm in Don Meuang, and my TOT has been crap this past week. When I say crap, I mean crappier than usual.

My Gold package is grinding to a halt on international links. I just tested Singapore and London and got 0.08 Mb/s....yes, 0.08 !!! which is the worst I have ever seen and it's the same for all countries I try. Thailand is normally about 1.6 Mb/s but is down to 0.8 Mb/s tonight.

Can it get any worse?

And this is in Ladprao area, not out in the middle of nowhere.

So it's not just me that's having trouble with TOT, good to know and bad :-s

I've been on the speedtest website and latency inside Thailand is fine and download speed is what it usually is.

However when I try pinging anything outside Thailand, even neighbouring countries I get pings of 2,000+. Tried Japan and got 5,000ms ping.

Tried to log on to WoW just now (European server) which usually has a ping of around 700, which well isn't good to start with, tonight it was 12,000! Which basically means you get cut off after about 10 seconds.

Downloads from any UK websites or steaming of audio etc is useless at the moment as well. I've tried searching for a TOT line status page, but have not come accross one and their website is pretty useless. Anyone know if there is a line status page which may shed some more light on the external links out of the country?

EDIT: Living in Suan Luang, Bangkok

Yeah, I run a raiding guild on a LA-based server; the only way I can even stay connected long enough to chat is through HTTP tunnelling. Been like that since last week.
