2 Days Overstay...

Featured Replies

Hello I am new to the forums, but I must admit i have been lurking for a while.

The thing is, I have a 2 months turist visa that expired the 10 october. Usually i would go the the immigration office in Phuket town and get 1 month extension. But this time around I completely forgot to check my passport, very stupid yes I know...

Anyways, is there any chance that they will extend my 2 months tourist visa for me, when i have 2 days overstay.

I am not counting on it, but I thought I would here what you guys think first...

It is not the end of the world for me, as i have another 2 months visa ready to use in my passport..

So what do think, will I have chance ?

Thx guys, have a good day

As the 10th was a Saturday they may well do it if you nip down there today.

Chances are they will do it as visa expired over the weekend. You may however get fined 2 days overstay (1,000 baht) depending upon the mood of the immigration officer. Smile and be nice ... :) As said, get down there today.

Hello guys, thanks for the fast reply. I went there and talked with one of the farangs (swedish guy) working there. He was very helpful and I got my extension, even without having to pay for overstay :-)

What a delight, cheers guys.

I guess that it's beers all round then? :)
