WE all know that a toursit visa is good for 2 months and can then be extended for an additional 1 month for 1,900 baht,.

BUT it seems Cambodian nationals are only given 1 month on a tourist visa

Does anyone know 100% if this can then be extended in country for an additonal 30 days??

Under bilateral agreement nationals of Cambodia may enter Thailand without a visa and will get 30 day stamp on arrival.

Cambodia is not listed as one of the restricted countries on immigration website where 30 day extensions are not given:

• Foreigners applying for the first time for an extension of stay are given a 30 day extension from the date of expiry of the original admission, except for citizens of Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Iran, Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Togo, and Uganda, whose application for extension of stay will not be approved and the applicants are ordered to leave the kingdom within seven days.

Thanks BUT the 1st sentence is not correct as of NOW.

Cambodians NEED a visa in advance. My Gf just applied yesterday in PP.

My Khmer GF does not make the extension, she just makes a new visa as it's free and is the opportunity to spend a few days home. It's possible to make several visas in a row.

mmm where do u live? I am in Phuket and its expensive to go from here to there, ( even to travel to Kata bahru its still more expensive than paying the 1,900)

also the free no visa is for Diplomatic/Official Passport only

how many has she had in a row? I know one travel office in PP that has told me that after a Khmer has made 2-3 tourists visas they can apply for a 6 month or one year visa.

just flew back with my Cambodia GF saturday night and they gave her 60 days!! not sure why but am ok with it. :-)
