Aloha Everyone.....

I am currently living in a rented studio apartment down at Bang NA ..Well actually now im using the AIS GPRS Connection to the internet Via My notebook..

The reason im using this GPRS because the apartment i am living do not have any TOT or True Telephone Line...They only have the Internal Apartment line which i could not access the Broadband service.....

I saw somewhere in this forum about a satelite Internet Service that is IP STAR???

Could any1 give me a hint how much would this IP star cost me for the satelite and also how much is the cost for unlimited internet access ???

I am really gonnal break my GPRS PHONE coz the connection is damm slow...

Please Do give me a solution ???

Thanx in Advance

Andy

GPRS isn't bad, it's like IDSL, much better than dialup, not quite as good as ADSL. If you go outside Thailand you won't notice much difference, the big problem in this country is the tiny lines they have to the rest of the world.

For big downloads of common software such as Firefox already in the proxy cache I generally get the full speed (about 15 KB/s) with DTAC.
