I Desperately Need Help With Adsl

Featured Replies

Hi, i've been using the TOT Supercyber ADSL for quite some time now. but on the 20th (around that time) sudenlly it just stopped working! :o

I tried phoning 1100 and they said my line is perfectly OK. They said it must be wrong with my settings so i really need help.

here are my specs and settings so far:

ADSL Router LAN D-Link 500G

Connection Type: PPPoE LLC (does other work too? e.g. PPPoA VC-Mux)

VPI 1

VCI 32

Use IP Unnumber Disable

Security Protocol : PAP

Username: 076******@supercyber

Password: 076****** (I'm pretty sure i got username and password correct)

Use DNS : Enable

Primary DNS Server 203.121.130.39

Secondary DNS Server 203.121.130.42

I Really have no idea what is wrong.

If possible give me contact numbers and websites about the config and TOT ADSL.

Thanks in advance.

Your settings are perfect as far as instructions and info I have...

Can you provide a diagnostic from the modem ?? It will show whats failing (HW line or authentication).. Just seen its a D-Link 500.. Look under advanced -> Diagnostics..

Also do you have a line / WAN light on the modem.. Is it constantly on ?? if the light is off with regular (every few secs flashes) then the line is not working and the modem keep repeat trying it..

I just got a cal today after a week of solid phoning them.. The line to my house is no good, now I have to wait for an engineer to come and replace it :o !!!
