I have a fixed deposit account with Kbank, maturity is every three months (next due date on 12.Nov.'09).

What is the date I can make a withdrawal without loss of interest?

Is it 12 or 13 Nov.?

If it is 12, does it have to be close to the end of business day or is any time okay?

To state the obvious, why not visit the bank and get the real answer?

BTW what interest are you getting?

Yes I know that I can go to the bank and ask but there are many knowledgeable people here on TV who can answer my question without me having to make a trip to the bank (I'm lazy by nature!)

As for interest it is currently stated in the book as 1.5%

Many knowledgeable people here :D :D

The problem is picking out the right answer from the following groups

1. the ones who know

2. the ones who think they know

3. the ones who heard it from a friend

4. the ones who haven't a clue but feel obliged to hazard a guess

Time after time, and it is now some 12 years in Thailand, even after research in TV and/or the web, in the end the right answer is

"it depends on the official you have to deal with, whether he/she is having a good day, whether he/she likes you and which interpretation they want to put on the rules that day" TIT :):D :D

But thanks for the interest rate, I'll pop down and see about putting some of my money on a longer term.
